These turkey and tofu meatballs are juicy, tender, and super addictive. I love making these for a weeknight dinner but the possibilities are endless. You can add them to a pasta for a spaghetti and meatball dinner or have them as an appetizer or finger food.
I’m always trying to find ways to get more plant-based foods into my diet, and this recipe is a great way to do it. If you’re like me then, you must try this recipe. The meatballs are so flavorful, you won’t notice the tofu snuck in there.
This recipe makes 30 to 35 meatballs.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 container firm tofu (10 oz)
- 1 medium onion, cooked for 5 minutes
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 deg F
- Dice onion. With a little oil, fry onion until translucent and golden about 5-10 minutes. Allow to cool down.
- Cut tofu into slices and pat dry with a towel. Using a fork, crumble tofu.
- Add all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix until combined
- Shape into meatballs 1.5 inch in diameter and place on greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through. Broil for 2-3 minutes to brown the outside. Watch the meatballs so they don’t burn.
