I’m always excited after Thanksgiving because there is always delicious leftovers: turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing! And leftover recipes! This sandwich uses some of those thanksgiving leftovers but is also easily made the rest of the year as sliced turkey and cranberry sauce can be found in grocery stores year-round.

Sammies (aka sandwiches) are so easy to put together; they are a go-to in my toolbox for easy lunch or dinner ideas. This sammy is wonderful. Cranberry sauce gives sweetness and brightness. Apples give a nice crisp texture.
